Welcome to the Lets Get Sketchy/ Picture This “ My One Word” Blog Hop.
You should have come from Melissa's blog . If you have stumbled across this by chance and want to play along then you can head back to the Let's Get Sketchy site to start at the beginning and to start collecting your challenge words.
The word that I choose for my project is LOVE. Love "is the" most important feeling and gesture according to me in life nothing is more important. If we all start loving each other the world would be a much more beautiful place. In this time of unrest all around the world LOVE is the only cure:)
My project is an altered project i have altered a wall hanging from a dollar shop to a napkin holder or tea light candle holder....
Here is my project...details on how I made it coming below....
This is how i started...it was a wall hanging i applied gesso all over it i got the alphabets L O V E and stuck it close together...(The texture that i have created i got highly inspired by a post i saw on the 13arts site recently)....then I put buttons and beads to give the surface some texture with the help of gel medium and applied gesso again...then i applied the Ranger Distress Spray Stain the chipped sapphire and peacock feathers with a pain brush and also the tattered angels precious opal paint to give some shine ...Prima bird resins set opposite to each other to reflect love and embellished it with mulberry flowers and some prima stems....
Some close ups to show my project to show all the details...
"IS THE" is my words for you from my blog just incase u missed my hint before.
