DT Call LGS..Tweet !!

Hi this is my take on the sketch given for DT call at Lets get sketchy...

The picture that i have put up is one of my favourite its my daughter when she turned 1!! She would tweet like a bird all day then so my title is Tweet..my sweet girl is now going to turn 8...i usually love using flowers but just wanted to try something new so wanted to add these sweet birds which are really cute and went along with my title tweet..i took a bright pink background...made the tag with a chipboard and went ahead and painted with gesso and put some pattern with stencil and modelling paste...then sprayed some distress stains picked Raspberry n seedless preserves...took some bunch of twine to make the circles behind the tag...put some silver sprays on few corners and my favourite dew drops...I hope u like it...Thanks

Lets Get Sketchy (March week 2)

Its a 12 by 12 canvas....the background is teal and opal shimmer i used the layout given by Lets get sketchy...cut the doily from webster pages added some texture with modelling paste...and stamped some cages randomly...The title is EXPLORE as these pics were clicked on the day we went to the river safari and the two kids loved exploring the entire place...

Altered photo frames...

Hi...just altered these photo frames as a quick gift for my friends...some textures and some flowers.... Had very little time and frame was very narrow so dint give much scope... Hope they like it!!

Coffee Table Mini Albums..

Hi this is a 6 by 6 coffee table album that i created for my client....it was a gift by my client to her husband to celebrate 10 years of their togetherness...so my effort was to show it like a story format from beginning till date ...i made lots of pull outs and journalling tags for her to write on...here is how it looked...

Challenge @ 13 arts

Hi...This is something i created for a challenge at 13 arts...

The Theme of the challenge was Love and any three elements from the grid was to be chosen horizontally, vertically of diagonally....i Have used Gesso,Scrapbook Paper and glitter

So here is my project....I have used the paper from Carta Bella Yesterday series...coated with gesso and modelling paste....added some stains tattered rose and barn red and glimmer mist yellow...I've put antique glitter on the window frame....glitter to all the flowers....

Finally started

Hi this is my first post....just before the year is ending. I started my craft journey very very young but my interest kept shifting within the art and craft sphere....luckily this just helped me learn more and more...of which most of it I have learnt without any formal classes...I have loved card making the most. I would make invites and return gifts for my daughters birthdays, her school events etc.Now finally when I have shifted to Singapore I got a chance to take some workshops on mixed media and scrapbooking.... I'm still learning but I love the mixed media...gives you a lot scope to explore ....I'm starting my post with a piece of art that I have loved making the most this year...i have made these for various different themes...I'm posting the one on Christmas right now....Merry Christmas!!

Baby Girl Album

This is my favourite project i ever made coz it was for my darling niece whose birth i was awaiting this was my first big size album it involved a great deal of thinking i took lots of ideas from the internet but at the end made something really different from the ones i was seeing ....its a very very special project....priceless!! some pics of it...
