Pink n Mint Mini Album

Hi!!This is a completely handmade mini album....The color combination is my favourite the mint color goes well with most of the colors...I did lesser details on the pages ...decorated the album with some prima flowers and metal charms of Eiffel tower and the love die from Sizzix gives that golden love cutout...The paper is from webster pages ....did some texture with modelling paste with the prima new stencil in Royal Menargie collection....and splatter some distress stain-pickled raspberry and peacock feather...and some random stamping with blue fern studio stamp...Absolutely my own creation no inspiration from else where...lol...
This album was published by Sizzix on its instagram page on 12th Oct'15!!!

October DT Reveal at LGS

So here is what I did I mirrored the sketch on the other side.I have used Prima Garden Fable designer paper. The quote is from webster pages and flowers from prima. Background i have put some strips of paper and coloured with colour burst with splatters of black and white... modelling paste with damask Kaiserkraft stencil.

Hi this is a mini album 6.5 by 6.5 with outer 7 by 7 cover...i have used bo bunny ,kaiserkraft papers mixed....the cover is embellished with prima flowers....Each page has a large pocket with an insert...

I made this for Cardabilities challenge #131...below is my take to this challenge ...

Its a mixed media card...with a water color base with colorbursts and some stencilling with the modelling paste...then some random stamping...and decorated with some flowers...

This is for the DT Reveal of LGS September Week1....loved the sketch....Just did simple layering using burlap and designer papers from Blue Fern studios Frolic series...embellised it with prima flowers and few mulberry flowers...Sprinkled some antique gold mica flakes...

Hi this is my August week 1 reveal for Lets Get sketchy....I loved the sketch !! I have made this layout for my sister its a gift for her...hope she likes it. I have used my favourite colours pinks and teals....I like playing with my background so a lot of texture and paints and stencilling with distress ink...and embellished with some chipboard and prima flowers....

Dream Holiday!

Hi this layout is inspired from the mood board of Scrap Around the World Challenge and the Topic Vacation from 13arts challenge

 

The picture in my layout is from my recent vacation to Switzerland which was my dream place to visit and also it was my first trip with my husband alone after my kids were born. This particular picture is outside area of  Rhine falls in Zurich, I loved the roses and flowers all along the country...
It was a lovely holiday and i think everyone should visit this country once in their lifetime!
From SATW mood board i was inspired by the turquoise blue blended flower picture which i have used in my background and stamped some large flowers and butterfly on the sides of my picture layering. I gave a stepped look by using layers and chipboards(checkers). I really liked the pollens and used pink and yellow flowers with pollens. Mica flakes and beads to give some texture around.

Creating the background with color burst was really fun and I loved the watercolor splatter look... This is how I did it...
